In Genesis 27, a story is told of Jacob, who with the help of his mother Rachel,  received from their father, Isaac who was blind;  the blessings intended for Esau. Isaac’s blindness represents his ignorance which resulted in Esau losing God’s intended blessings for him to Jacob. Bible further says in Hosea 4:6, that for lack of knowledge my people perish.

God has made all spiritual blessings available to the believer in the new testament. However, our access is dependent on the depth of our knowledge of Him (1 Peter 1:1-3). 

At Coventry PIWC, we believe that everyone can reach their full potential in Christ, so long as they have full knowledge of what God has for them and what authority they can exercise in this life. Everyone is more than a conqueror through Christ. So, all that Paul wanted to know was Christ and the power of His resurrection. It is the knowledge of the word of God that builds us up into the giants that can defeat every foe in this world (Acts 20:32).
